Instructions for Taking MBL Communications, Inc.'s CME Quizzes

To complete a CME quiz online, please go to www.primarypsychiatry.com and click “Journal CME” on the left side of the page. Scroll down the page and select the month of the quiz you would like to take. If the month you want is not list, click “View all Journal CME” on the lower right. All valid Journal CME activities are listed on that page, by month.

Once you have selected the appropriate month, you will see links to the three CME articles relevant to that quiz. The text on the Web site is identical to what is available in the journal. If you have not read and thoroughly reviewed the printed articles in the journal, please do so online.

When you are ready to take the CME quiz, select any of the articles and click the “Click here to order CME Quiz” link at the top of the page, or at the end of the article. Please be patient as the form may take a few moments to load.

The cost to take the quiz online is $20. Please fill in your accurate information in EVERY field, including name, contact information, and credit card information. Review each field to ensure accuracy and then press the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page. Please be careful to press the “Submit” button just once, as clicking the button repeatedly may cause multiple charges on your credit card.

It will take some time to load the CME Web site and there will be a pop-up button reading “You are now being re-directed to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine CME Web Site.” Please be patient as the site loads.

If the quiz is February 2008 or earlier, you will be directed to the MSSM TV web site to take the posttest. If the quiz is March 2008 or later, you will be directed to the MSSM CME Outreach website.

Both web sites are free to register. As a new user, please complete all fields accurately. If you have a pre-existing user name and password you will not need to register again; all you will need to do is enter the information.

When registering, fill in all of the required fields accurately. Please double check that your email address is entered correctly, as your User name and password will be sent to that address. Please save this information for future reference – MSSM TV users will be sent a message from “webmaster@mssmtv.org) and MSSM CME Outreach users will be sent a message from “mbl@mail1-mssm.aosoft.com.” Once you have your User name and password, you may log in.

MSSM TV HINT: If you have forgotten your User name and/or password: Your User name is most likely the email address that you used to register with MSSMTV.

Once you have logged onto the MSSM TV or CME Outreach website, you will be able to access the quiz requested. (On the CME Outreach website, please click “Activities and Tests” to access the quiz requested.) Take your time reading and answering the questions. To enter an answer, click on the bullet next to your answer. There is only one answer to each question.

When you are satisfied with your answers, click the “Score Quiz” or “Submit Questionnaire” button below the last question. Your quiz will be scored instantly, and you will be able to view all of the questions, along with the answers that you gave. You will be told whether your answers are correct or incorrect, but you will not be given the correct answers to questions that you got wrong.

If you have scored 70% or better on the quiz, you will be given your score and provided with a link to take your evaluation (“click here”). If you would like to review your test answers before giving your evaluation, please scroll down before clicking the link.

When you have completed the evaluation, please submit the information by clicking the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.

If you pass the quiz, you can click the link to view and print your certificate upon completion of the evaluation, or you can log on at any point in the future using your MSSMTV User name and password to view and print the certificate at a later date. A link to your certificate will be emailed to you, as well.

If you fail the quiz, you may retake it at no extra cost and no further registration. Please note that you will not be able to attain a refund if you fail the quiz.
